Diagnostic Procedures are performed when we need to "find out more information" in order to make a diagnosis (tell you what is wrong) and recommend treatment. In addition, a diagnosis helps us to give you a "prognosis" which means how successful the treatment outcome would be.
There are many classes of Diagnostic Dental Procedures that are listed in this section. These include Clinical Oral Evaluations (D0120 - D0180), Pre-Diagnostic Screenings (D0190, D0191), Diagnostic Imaging such as the use of radiographs and photographs (D0200 - D0399); and various Clinical Tests and Laboratory Results (D0400 - D0999)
